ETMA 2021 Spring Conference Recap
Last week, the AMI crew headed to Jupiter, Florida, for the 2021 Spring ETMA conference. We had a great time connecting with old friends and meeting new ones. And for those of you who couldn’t make the trip, we thought we’d quickly share our top 3 takeaways and trends on the horizon from the conference:
- Cloud Meets TEM – As companies continue to invest in cloud services, optimizing subscriptions, licenses and usage is becoming the next frontier in TEM. In fact, our own CTO, Dean Keeler, spoke on a panel about Cloud/Software Expense Management at the show. Be on the lookout next month for a deep dive from Dean on this topic!
- International Billing in Native Currency – One of the biggest thorns in the side of a business operating internationally can be constantly fluctuating exchange rates. More accurately, how can organizations make sure that they’re paying their international bills at the current rate of exchange and not overpaying or racking up fines/penalties for underpayment? It’s an issue and AMI has solved it. We are fully integrated with the largest international payment systems provider, and we’ll have more to share on how bill pay in temNOW is tackling this complex issue and who our new partner is in the coming weeks! Stay tuned!
- Try TEM, Buy TEM – Another big trend we saw at ETMA is how organizations are selling TEM. Gone are the days of setting up a contract up front. Today, organizations want to test drive a system before they commit. We’re seeing more TEM providers follow our lead by sharing some “freemium” period where prospects can try out the TEM solution, start the data exchange and get a solid feel for the user experience of the tool. If you attended ETMA, we’d love to hear what resonated most with you – let’s connect!
